Dr. Josephine Do, O.D.
Optometrist

Dr. Josephine Do, a native Texan, discovered her passion for eye care early on. She earned her B.S. in Human Biology from the University of Texas at Austin and completed her optometry degree at the New England College of Optometry in Boston. Before moving to Austin, Dr. Do honed her skills in medical optometry in Alaska, where she treated a wide range of ocular conditions.

During her externships, Dr. Do gained invaluable experience in treating ocular diseases such as diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, cataracts, corneal disease, contact lenses, dry eye treatment, and glaucoma. She is certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry and is a proud member of the American Academy of Optometry, the American Optometric Association, and the Texas Optometric Association. Licensed in both Texas and Alaska, Dr. Do is committed to providing top-notch care to her patients.

Since 2019, Dr. Do has cherished the opportunity to grow as an eye care professional, focusing on building meaningful connections with her patients. She believes that even brief interactions can have a lasting impact.

Outside of work, Dr. Do loves rock climbing, hiking, and spending time outdoors. She’s also deeply involved in community service, inspired by her father’s non-profit work in Greater Houston. She regularly volunteers for health screenings and food fairs and dreams of one day fostering fur babies.
